Between 1991 and 1992, M.F. Husain worked closely with Abhay and Sonal, who were propagating the use of new tools in the creative process. Mr. Vinod Khanna, the noted Bollywood film star and an art lover, agreed to pitch in the funds to mount an exhibition of this collaboration. Work on Andy Worhol inspired serigraphs and mixed media began in true earnest (some of the works completed by him can be seen at H:\MFHUSAIN\SECTION3.HTM and other works in progress will be added shortly). He incorporated his idea of bringing in a connection with the 'renaissance movement' in the concept the excitement grew! Along the way, another enthusiastic art collector, Mr. Devinder Sawhney, showed keen interest to join the collaboration to increase the scope and scale of the project. However, after two years of hard work, Mr. Husain's restlessly creative mind suddenly seemed to divert his attention to another idea - 'Shwetambari' and in spite of best efforts, unfortunately the collaboration soon collapsed.
