The House of MG is the only 'boutique' category hotel in Ahmedabad. This stately heritage property has been tastefully refurbished to retain its old-world charm but with all the amenities and comforts of contemporary living. With the addition of these twelve sumptuously furnished rooms, it now offers a complete hospitality package to its patrons. The Lonely Planet Guide and the Rough Guide recommend this hotel highly and the discerning British travel guide 'Sawdays - Places to Stay in India' has singled out The House of MG as the only hotel worth mention, in its Ahmedabad section. Of the twelve rooms, one is a Grand Suite,
another is an apartment suite with a full
service kitchen designed for long stays, and
five are Grand Deluxe rooms, two Deluxe rooms,
two Veranda Suites and one Terrace Suite.
Most rooms have a jhoola (swing) and all have
Wifi, World Space Radio, air-conditioning,
refrigerator, electrically operated safe,
telephone internet connection, hot-water kettle
and multiple telephones. The room size varies
from 400 sq.ft to 800 sq.ft. and the tariff
ranges from Rs.2900 to Rs.5,900 per night
for single occupancy. Apex rates are available
against advance booking.
Another unique feature of this hotel is that
each room contains a catalogue of its signature
range of furniture, light fittings, floor
coverings and bed linen, including some of
the decorative objects. These items are available

The House of MG is conveniently located in the city centre, at the T- junction of an un-congested 80-foot wide road. There is ample parking space within the complex with valet parking available. Both the Airport and the Railway Station are within a 7 km distance.
